Auxiliary Programming and Database Services
Do you need to present information for your department
in an appealing manner, and have it available to a large audience?
Do you need the help of an experienced and professional
team, who not only have the knowledge of the most cutting edge development
tools, but are also an integral part of the university?
Do you have budgetary limitations?
Here at MSSG we have a non-profit in-house
auxiliary team of web developers that have a broad range of skills,
capable of tackling the most technical tasks. We have worked with
both large and small departments at Rutgers, resolving the needs
of the client with efficiency and quality customer service.
-
Web Design
This is the planning stage of a web based project.
Here we find out exactly what functions need to be carried out by the
system, identify what tools should be utilized, and how to present it
to the user in an aesthetically pleasing way with the functionality
that meets the clients needs. Our experience with web services allows
us during this phase to flesh out a project and understand how it
should be implemented.
-
Web Development/Database Design
This phase consists of the actual implementation of
the web based project. Here we use our skills in various technologies
to bring the design into being. This is done through a combination of
programming the functionality, creating and laying out the graphic
design, and presenting the information in a logical manner. This may
also include setting up database systems that interact with the
website to enable a constant updated data feed to the user and allow
higher level user interactivity.

Web Hosting
All web sites must be stored on a server that is
capable of presenting web pages to the internet. We offer web hosting
services for departments wishing to utilize software technology not
supported on Rutgers central systems. Sites can be hosted on our
equipment, or for more interactive sites, we recommend dedicated
equipment which we can house and maintain.
