What is RUSS?

RUSS is an acronym for Rutgers University Standard Software. The RUSS Installer is designed to simplify the installation of supported software for any Rutgers PC.

What are the system requirements for using it?

In order to use the RUSS Installer, the system must meet the following requirements:

• Windows 2000, XP, or Server 2003
• At least 64MB of memory
• Administrative rights for user installing software

Where do I get it?

The RUSS Installer is currently in the process of being redeveloped and is expected to be released sometime in August 2006.

The RUSS Installer is undergoing major changes in the interface and its capabilities. As soon as the new version is released, you will find instructions on how to use it here.
