To inform, support and be advocates for departments regarding information
technology issues at Rutgers.
What is MSSG?
The Microcomputer Support Services Group (MSSG) is a part of Campus
Computing Services, the campus support division of the central IT group,
Office of Information Technology (OIT). MSSG provides
departmental support services to the faculty and staff of all Rutgers
University departments.
What services does MSSG provide?
Services offered include:
- free IT consulting and planning
- hardware/software configurations/recommendations
- software distribution for site licensed products
- monthly meetings for the system administrator support group
(PC/LAN group)
- second level support for help desk problem response
MSSG also offers fee based services to departments for the following:
